cd CD Information

Delicat Bulldozer
The first idea was to make a song with only one simple riff, that’s pretty right!

Yia, Yia, Yia
Called like that due to humanizer set at a fast speed. This song is the fastest of the album, with some hard parts to play, especially the rhythm part at the end, in 9/16 followed by 4/4 etc.

Un Trou A Mon Pantalon
(A hole in my pants in English!) is the funniest song of “Contrastes”. I don’t know how to write “happy songs”, but I really like to laugh! I’ve written it with my brother (bassist), it’s really simple, but I like it! Ron Thal plays at the end some really strange solos, he also sings the bass line with different voices, that was a marvelous surprise for me.

Rien Qui Vaille
A more classic song with a bizarre solo at the end and a melody easy to remember.

Un Peu D`Air
A tune recorded with two classical guitars, it was written for my wife.

Finale
Originally made for a variety singer! But completely re-arranged! Melody is very important here. At the end you can hear a beautiful solo recorded by Patrick Rondat, who is a great French guitar player and a very kind person.

Le Mort Joyeux
That’s the first time I recorded my own voice. It’s only spoken, with a very long solo.

Trouver I`lssue
A song with many different ideas...

Chaos
One of my favorite, very dark, with one of the solos I prefer at the end, an improvised one.

Mauvaise Ambiance
The minimalist song with one note on the guitar!
