Jirakit Somame is a guitarist that was born in Buriram,Thailand. He began playing guitar seriously at age 14. When he was 23, he began classical guitar studies and harmony at the Department of Music at Rajabhat Nakornratchasima in Nakornratchasima,Thailand.
Jirakit has taught guitar and music at the Department of Music at Surindra Rajabhat University and Banthanon School in Surin, Thailand. He has studied guitar with Tom Hess.

All examples are based on the A minor pentatonic scale (A C D E G) and use groups of five notes. Using a grouping of five is a good way to break it up a little. It provides a more interesting challenge for the picking hand.
I think all examples develop and improve outside picking and alternate picking. If you want to work on inside picking, you should start the example with an up stroke. Start out slowly at first and then increase the speed. Play each example as fast as you can one time and then stop and repeat. Happy picking!
Example Study 1. Study 1 is a two string speed burst, using 3 2 3 2 pentatonic technique.
Example Study 2. Study 2 is a three string speed burst, using 1 2 2 3 2 pentatonic technique.
Example Study 3. Study 3 is a four string speed burst, using 1 2 2 1 2 2 pentatonic technique.
Example Study 4. Study 4 is a sequence group of five notes that ascend and descend through the A minor pentatonic scale, and use the 3 2 2 3 3 2 2 3 3 2 pentatonic technique.
