Soulfly guitarist Marc Rizzo, also a founding member of Il Nino, is a master musician with deep musical roots in metal shred, classical and flamenco guitar. Colossal Myopia is an all instrumental guitarfest, and reveals Rizzo to be a highly talented axeman and a much needed breath of fresh air to the instrumental rock genre. Colossal Myopia is a mixture of all the music that Rizzo listens to. It's a combination of metal nuevo, flamenco and jazz.
