Progressive/Fusion
Cloud Nineology is the latest CD release from the Raleigh, NC instrumental prog-fusion band Ozone Quartet. Cloud Nineology chronicles the pre-history of Ozone Quartet. Ozone Quartet's original band name was Cloud Nine, but due to trademark laws, the band changed its name in 1997 before the release of their debut CD, "Fresh Blood". As a bonus track, the CD includes the first ever recorded cover song by Ozone Quartet, "The Barbarian" by Emerson, Lake and Palmer. The track was recorded in 1998 for an ELP tribute album that has remained unreleased. With two studio releases and a live CD, Ozone Quartet has established an international fan base and has sold thousands of CDs through blood, sweat and tears. The release of Cloud Nineology completes the story, representing tracks from a time period of six years from 1992 through 1998. Instrumental Guitar (Electric/Progressive/Fusion), total running time, 49:28 - Ozone Quartet @ iTunes!
