Christmas Guitars features Paul Johnson's ingenious, all-instrumental, solo multi-track arrangements of delightful tunes and carols, such as "White Christmas", "O Come, All Ye Faithful", "Deck The Halls", "O, Holy Night" and "We Wish You A Merry Christmas". You may hear anywhere from two to a half dozen guitars (each of which is Paul) on the various tracks. Johnson was one of the principal founders of all-instrumental surf music in the early '60s. His tune "Mr. Moto" (waxed when he was 15 with his band, the Belairs) is a genre classic; his innovative, lyrical playing style led to numerous studio credits, and his prolific output of creative ideas and original tunes made him one of the most respected figures of that period. In addition to his solo work, Paul is a highly visible as a member of the Surfaris ("Wipeout") at major venues nationwide. Instrumental Guitar (Acoustic/Pop), total running time, 0:00 - Paul Johnson @ iTunes!
