Christian Andersen is a Canadian guitarist who plays as a solo artist, and also as lead guitarist in the band Assyria. His debut self-titled CD features five metal tracks that will remind listeners of the heavieness and drive of the instrumentals on Chris Poland's "Return To Metalopolis". Guitarists (and guitar teams) that have had a big impact on his playing include Paul Gilbert, Terry Syrek, Jeff Loomis, Christopher/Michael Amott, Chuck Shuldiner, and Willie Adler/Mark Morton.
