uitarist Chris Poland is a rock/fusion guitarist with superchops, a liquid tone and a good feel for fiery, fast blues lines on his latest trio release. Poland, ex-Megadeath (don't be fooled by this), is one of the strongest exponents of the rock/fusion genre and is sure to appeal to fans of Shawn Lane, Vai, Greg Howe, Brand X and the like. Support is provided by fine fretless bassist Robertino Pagliari, among others. Highlights include the live cut recorded at the Baked Potato, "Alexandria '99". Forthcoming is a recording by Poland and Pagliari's new rock/fusion group, OHM, as well. Recommended.
