Review of "Caught In A Jam"

By: C. Kirk
kay, the guy can play a six string. Okay, the guy can get down right nasty with his axe. There's no doubt that Mr. Wentworth has talent. Unfortunately, the market for guitar soloists is rather narrow. But, and a big but, Wentworth does manage to offer up a bit of everything for every discerning palate out there. Want some Satriani? Check out "Hoggin' The Road." Randy Rhoads? Crank up the title track. '80's power chord feast? "Talkin' Trash." Malmstein? "The Battle" is for you. Power ballad? "Flood Of Tears." Hendrix? Clapton? Lynyrd Skynyrd? Well. they're all in there, somewhere. It's all there. No words, just adrenaline soaked power blues.
Reason to buy: A) You're a guitarist who is sick of jangly guitars. B) You love a good power chord. C)
You're jonesing for some cool air-guitar material.
Best Listening Experience: The closing track, "After You're Gone." Not too heavy with the hammer-ons, but not fluffy either.
