Boston T Party is the collaboration of four celebrated progressive musicians (Dennis Chambers, drums, Jefff Berlin, bass, David Fiuczynski, guitar, T Lavitz, keyboards) who join forces for a jazz fusion tour de force, brimming with musical virtuosity from every player in the ensemble. Boston T Party has these stellar players exhibit a level of musical interplay that is reminiscent of the great rock fusion acts of the '70s, bringing to mind artists as diverse as Weather Report, Frank Zappa and Jeff Beck. Fiuczynski wails on a combination of fretted, fretless and 1/4 tone guitars, while the CD as a whole was produced by the experienced hand of keyboardist Lavitz.
