Shane Theriot is a 'righteous' and more-than-capable axe wielder currently based in Nashville, Tennessee (U.S.A.) who represents his playing style as rock/fusion, as a listener can readily appreciate on his most recent album, "Highway 90".  His most utilized guitars include a Hamer Daytona Strat and a PRS. Theriot has been playing guitar since 1972, and without beating around the bush reveals his career aspiration, "To continue to work with a variety of artists and get my own music heard in the meantime."
When asked to divulge his ultimate effect for the guitar, Theriot responded by saying, "Ibanez tube screamer," and continued by mentioning his musicial goals, "To forge a new style mixing the roots of Louisiana music with the modern fusion/jazz sounds." He eagerly hopes to one day study how to improve my keyboard chops, and is presently listening to Stone Temple Pilots, McCoy Tyner and Branford Marsalis. His principal fulfillment? "Knowing that people have gotten some sort of emotion out of something i worked on, or my own music," he declares incontestably.
 Theriot concludes by detailing current and approaching undertakings enthusiastically, by saying, "Recording with bassist Adam Nitti and Vinnie Colaiuta on new CD, various projects in Nashville, Hamer clinics and touring Europe and Japan this year with the Neville Brothers."
