Prashant Aswani is a spirited and reputable six-stringer currently based in Los Angeles, California (U.S.A.) who reveals his playing style as indian rock fusion, as a listener can readily experience on his most recent album, "Duality". His most utilized guitar is an ESP: Prashant Aswani M-II. Aswani has been playing guitar since 1987, and with no holds barred reveals his career aspiration, "To be a recording artist and producer."
When asked to divulge his one essential effect for the guitar, Aswani responded by saying, "Tube Screamer Overdrive," and continued by mentioning his musicial goals, "Each song is an individual story with a beginning, middle, and end. If just one person can connect to my story then my goal has been accomplished." He fervently hopes to one day study classical Indian Vocal, and is presently listening to Hariprasad Chaurasia and Zakir Hussein. His primary fulfillment? "Finishing an album. Every time I finish an album a sense of release occurs. I am then able to be free within my mind, body, and soul to create again," he declares incontestably.
Aswani concludes by detailing current and approaching undertakings succinctly, by saying, "I have recorded three new songs for "Revelation" with my new trio - myself, Joey
Heredia (drums) and Alex Evens (bass). We are gigging in LA in preparation for a tour and album. This tour will also include guitar seminars."
