Petr Henych is a dynamic, vital guitarist from Prague (Czech Republic) who describes his style as instrumental hard-pop rock, as documented on his latest release, "Na Vlastnich Rukou".  His guitar of choice is a Fender Telecaster. Henych has played guitar since 1984, and openly affirms his career goal, "To play gigs abroad."
When requested to name his preferred effect for the guitar, Henych responded with, "Xotic AC+," and submitted his musicial goals, "That people listen to my music and not miss the vocals. Melody is important for me.
" He would like to someday study a different guitar style
, and is currently listening to Guthrie Govan, Jeff Kollman with Cosmosquad, Andy Timmons and Richie Kotzen
. His greatest satisfaction? "Opening a show with Richie Kotzen in Prague on March 18, 2008," he states indisputably.
 Henych notes ongoing and upcoming projects thusly, "Practicing and composing new songs for my next solo CD, but with my new band called G-bod.
"
