Norman K. Anderson is a vibrant, 'righteous' six-stringer from Anchorage, Alaska (U.S.A.) who reveals his style as neo-classical, slightly progressive metal, as one can clearly experience on his latest album, "Victory And Valor". His favorite guitars include a Yngwie Malmsteen Classical Stratocaster and a Fender Strat. Anderson has played guitar since 1985, and freely declares his career aspiration, "My career goal is to release many solo albums, as well as many projects with bands and orchestras."
When requested to divulge his ultimate effect for the guitar, Anderson came back with, "If I could only use one effect it would be a little delay," and then pointed out his musicial goals, "To write and play what is true to my heart." He fervently hopes to one day study computer animation, and is at this time listening to any and all Yngwie Malmsteen albums, movie soundtracks, Dream Theater, and classical music. His primary fulfillment? "My greatest satisfaction comes from creating and recording my music and hearing the positive responses," he affirms categorically.
Anderson concludes by listing continuing and future undertakings succinctly, by saying, "The release party and concert for my latest album "Awakened" and daily recording for the next album "Seasons Of Fire"."
Anderson's discography (available here at Guitar Nine Records) includes several solo albums ("Mirror, Mirror", "Victory And Valor", "Awakened", "Master Of Illusion") and participation on another recording (Masquerade Of Shadows "The Haunted Manor").
