January, 2000 More [Artist Bios]

Norman K. Anderson is a driven and accomplished axe wielder currently based in Anchorage, Alaska (U.S.A.) who represents his playing style as neo-classical, slightly progressive metal, as a listener can readily appreciate on his most recent album, "Victory And Valor". photoHis most utilized guitars consist of a Yngwie Malmsteen Classical Stratocaster and a Fender Strat. Anderson has been playing guitar since 1985, and without beating around the bush reveals his career aspiration, "My career goal is to release many solo albums, as well as many projects with bands and orchestras."

When asked to divulge his ultimate effect for the guitar, Anderson responded by saying, "If I could only use one effect it would be a little delay," and continued by mentioning his musicial goals, "To write and play what is true to my heart." He eagerly hopes to one day study computer animation, and is presently listening to any and all Yngwie Malmsteen albums, movie soundtracks, Dream Theater, and classical music. His principal fulfillment? "My greatest satisfaction comes from creating and recording my music and hearing the positive responses," he declares incontestably.

photoAnderson concludes by detailing current and approaching undertakings enthusiastically, by saying, "The release party and concert for my latest album "Awakened" and daily recording for the next album "Seasons Of Fire"."

Anderson's discography (available here at Guitar Nine Records) includes several solo albums ("Mirror, Mirror", "Victory And Valor", "Awakened", "Master Of Illusion").
