Les Sabler is a talented and highly regarded six-stringer currently based in Sarasota, Florida (U.S.A.) who reveals his playing style as jazz, Latin, rock and pop influenced guitar music, as a listener can readily experience on his most recent album, "Time For Love". His most utilized guitars consist of a Fender Strat Ultra and a '68 Gibson ES335. Sabler has been playing guitar since 1966, and with no holds barred declares his career aspiration, "To continue to record and release recordings that reflect my passion and to continue to perform live with my group."
When requested to divulge his one essential effect for the guitar, Sabler came back with, "Tube distortion," and then pointed out his musicial goals, "I try to use music as a vehicle to reach out to whoever is listening in an uplifting manner." He fervently hopes to one day study in a private session with Larry Carlton, and is presently listening to Larry Carlton, Ted Quinlan and Sonny Greenwich. His primary fulfillment? "Performing live; finishing a recording project," he declares categorically.
Sabler concludes by listing current and approaching undertakings succinctly, by saying, "Currently in the production phase of another studio recording and I am also mixing tracks for a live CD."
