Leonid is an adroit and distinctive musician/guitarist currently based in Saddle Brook, New Jersey (U.S.A.) who denotes his playing style as progressive psychedelic rock, as one might want to hear on his most recent recording, "The Adventures Of... Leonid! And The Daydreamers". His workhorse guitar is a Takemine. Leonid has been playing guitar since 1989, and unreservedly relates his career objective, "To gain more stability through touring, and expanded fanbase."
When asked to disclose his definitive or preferred effect for the guitar, Leonid purposefully responded with, "Reverb," and outlined his musicial goals, "I would like to keep up with eclectic projects, keep the music unique and emphasize beautiful melodies which are moving." He keeps open the possibility to, at some point, study orchestral composition and film scoring, and is at the moment listening to Uriah Heep, Phish, MGMT, Beatles and world music. His most important gratification? "When it comes to music, composing," he muses confidently.
Leonid winds up by mentioning long-term and forthcoming endeavors insightfully, by saying, "Continue teaching; participating performance in humanitarian causes; acoustic duo with Mad Mike Cullens on percussion."
Leonid's discography (available here at Guitar Nine Records) includes one solo album ("The Adventures Of... Leonid! And The Daydreamers").
