Ken Burtch is an expressive, potent guitar player from Spokane (Washington U.S.A.) who expresses his style as variable, from light jazz to metal, as can be heard on his latest release, "Ken Burtch". His guitar of choice is a guitar that stays in tune. Burtch has played guitar since 1985, and frankly confirms his career goal, "I'm already there. Anything else is a bonus."
When asked to reveal his ideal effect for the guitar, Burtch countered with, "Digital delay," and then detailed his musicial goals, "I want my compositions to sound 'alive'." He would like to someday study recording engineering, and is currently listening to unknown independent artists. His utmost satisfaction? "Playing clean with no effects whatsoever," he answers decidedly.
Burtch mentions ongoing and upcoming projects in his own words, "The Generation Ibanez Project is my latest one. After that, I'll take it one day at a time."
Burtch's discography (available here at Guitar Nine Records) includes one solo album ("Ken Burtch") and participation on another recording (Generation Ibanez Project "Across The Miles").
