Ken Burtch is a highly regarded, enthusiastic guitar player from Spokane (Washington U.S.A.) who expresses his style as variable, from light jazz to metal, as one can appreciate on his latest album, "Ken Burtch". His favorite guitar is a guitar that stays in tune. Burtch has played guitar since 1985, and candidly acknowledges his career aspiration, "I'm already there. Anything else is a bonus."
When asked to name his number one effect for the guitar, Burtch answered back with, "Digital delay," and then cited his musicial goals, "I want my compositions to sound 'alive'." He hopes to one day study recording engineering, and is at this time listening to unknown independent artists. His utmost fulfillment? "Playing clean with no effects whatsoever," he affirms unquestionably.
Burtch concludes by mentioning continuing and future undertakings in his own words, "The Generation Ibanez Project is my latest one. After that, I'll take it one day at a time."
