Jon Zeeman is a reputable, committed six-stringer from Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts (U.S.A.) who reveals his style as blues/jazz/rock/fusion, as one can clearly experience on his latest album, "Still Life". His favorite guitars consist of a Sadowsky and a '63 Brown Deluxe. Zeeman has played guitar since 1969, and candidly acknowledges his career aspiration, "To make some more discs that people get to hear."
When requested to reveal his ultimate effect for the guitar, Zeeman answered back with, "Amp distortion," and then brought up his musicial goals, "I've got no specific goals at this time." He hopes to one day study er... nothing, and is at this time listening to Errol Garner, Storyville and Jimmy Bruno. His primary fulfillment? "Creating new music," he affirms conclusively.
Zeeman concludes by mentioning continuing and future undertakings succinctly, by saying, "Playing jazz piano."
Zeeman's discography (available here at Guitar Nine Records) includes one solo album ("Still Life").
