Jim Graham is a more-than-capable, 'righteous' six-stringer from Kingston, Ontario (Canada) who reveals his style as acoustic fingerstyle, as one can clearly experience on his latest album, "Stories Without Words". His favorite guitar is a Takemine Electric Classical. Graham has played guitar since 1964, and freely declares his career aspiration, "To push instrumental guitar music to the forefront of the world's attention."
When requested to divulge his ultimate effect for the guitar, Graham came back with, "Reverb," and then pointed out his musicial goals, "To write more songs and to bring more music written for other instruments to the guitar." He fervently hopes to one day study advanced music theory, and is at this time listening to Mozart, Celtic music, Andean folk and '70s progressive rock. His primary fulfillment? "Playing live and talking to people from the audience afterward," he affirms categorically.
Graham concludes by listing continuing and future undertakings succinctly, by saying, "Promoting the musc from my two CDs with as much live performing as I can as well as through radio and other media, while writing and working on more music for a third release."
