Greg Griffin is a 'righteous', dazzling guitar player from Toledo, Ohio (U.S.A.) who expresses his style as instrumental hard rock, as one can appreciate on his latest album, "Greg Griffin". His favorite guitar is a Gibson Explorer. Griffin has played guitar since 1982, and candidly avows his career aspiration, "I'd like to release three more CDs in the next five years and do music for commercials and documentaries."
When asked to name his number one effect for the guitar, Griffin answered back with, "Delay," and then cited his musicial goals, "Energy, excitement and mood." He hopes to one day study classical guitar, and is at this time listening to Dream Theater, Michael Schenker, classical music and Eric Johnson. His utmost fulfillment? "When someone tells you they enjoyed your CD and you can tell they are sincere," he affirms unquestionably.
Griffin details continuing and future undertakings in his own words, "Working on third instrumental CD and a vocal project. Putting together a trio that showcases instrumental music."
