Francesco Fareri is a sparkling, committed six-stringer from Rome (Italy) who reveals his style as shred with progressive and neo-classical influences, as one can clearly experience on his latest album, "Suspension". His favorite guitar is an Ibanez RG550 (an old model with a maple fretboard). Fareri has played guitar since 1995, and freely acknowledges his career aspiration, "Live for music (teach music, record music, produce music, eat music...)"
When requested to reveal his ultimate effect for the guitar, Fareri answered back with, "Distortion," and then brought up his musicial goals, "I'm trying to put my emotions and state of mind within my music, and make my shred kind of music a "melodic shred" with emotional arpeggio runs, so there is passion behind the speed." He hopes to one day study the fusion style with Greg Howe ("it would be a dream also to meet him one time!"), and is at this time listening to Vitalij Kuprij, Greg Howe and Jon Doman. His primary fulfillment? "To have made my CD all by myself," he affirms conclusively.
Fareri concludes by mentioning continuing and future undertakings succinctly, by saying, "I'm taking new inspiration for new music."
