Diego Garcia is a talented and nimble-fingered musician/guitarist currently based in Madrid (Spain) who denotes his playing style as blues-country, as a music fan can hear on his most recent recording, "Octopus".  His workhorse guitars consist of a 52 Telecaster and a Gibson ES-295. Garcia has been playing guitar since 1985, and putting it simply, divulges his career objective, "To make a living playing my music."
When requested to let slip his top choice for an effect for the guitar, Garcia resolutely answered, "Tape delay," and then outlined his musicial goals, "To find my own composing style." He maintains a desire to, at some point, study pedal steel, and is at the moment listening to Jim Campilongo, Wayne Shorter and Duke Ellington. His most important gratification? "Playing my tunes in a live situation," he explains without hesitation.
 Garcia wraps up by noting long-term and forthcoming endeavors insightfully, by saying, "I'm currently recording my second album."
