Darren Wilson is a skillful, enthusiastic guitar player from Adelaide, South Australia (Australia) who expresses his style as instrumental rock, as one can appreciate on his latest album, "Under A Watchful Eye". His favorite guitars consist of a Charvel Strat and a Maton Acoustic. Wilson has played guitar since 1981, and candidly avows his career aspiration, "Working towards a full time music career."
When asked to name his number one effect for the guitar, Wilson answered back with, "Delay," and then cited his musicial goals, "To progress and make the best music possible." He hopes to one day study music production/engineering, and is at this time listening to Dream Theater, Eric Johnson, Greg Howe and progressive music . His utmost fulfillment? "Recording my new musical ideas," he affirms unquestionably.
Wilson details continuing and future undertakings in his own words, "To continue to record instrumental music hoping to release every 18 months to 2 years. Am currently writing music for a vocal band hoping to have product in 6 months."
