Daniel Wentworth is a spirited and more-than-capable six-stringer currently based in Ann Arbor, Michigan (U.S.A.) who reveals his playing style as hard rock/metal ("with a blues edge"), as a listener can readily experience on his most recent album, "Daniel Wentworth". His most utilized guitars include a Charvel (customized) and an Ibanez. Wentworth has been playing guitar since 1976, and without beating around the bush reveals his career aspiration, "To sell about five times the amount of CDs I'm currently selling. To finish as many albums as I can, hopefully two or three more in the next five years and also travel and play all over the world."
When asked to divulge his one essential effect for the guitar, Wentworth responded by saying, "Delay," and continued by mentioning his musicial goals, "To put into music what I feel with my soul and hear in my head." He eagerly hopes to one day study violin, and is presently listening to Megadeth "Cryptic Writings", Howling Diablos "Green Bottle", Plow "Jake" and Joe Satriani "Crystal Planet". His primary fulfillment? "My greatest satisfaction is in meeting so many people and having so many great friendships resulting from my music. Music has introduced me to some incredible, life changing friendships, I wouldn't have otherwise had," he declares incontestably.
Wentworth concludes by detailing current and approaching undertakings succinctly, by saying, "Currently recording second solo album at Down River Sound Studios, Trenton, Michigan. Also currently negotiating some very far away performances for this spring. I may do some touring before finishing the next album."
