Brook Thompson is a distinctive and highly regarded six-stringer currently based in Melbourne (Australia) who reveals his playing style as hard/progressive rock, metal, fusion, as a listener can readily experience on his most recent album, "Warped".  His most utilized guitar is an Ibanez Universe. Thompson has been playing guitar since 1981, and with no holds barred declares his career aspiration, "To continue recording and releasing CDs, with each being an improvement on the previous."
When requested to divulge his one essential effect for the guitar, Thompson came back with, "Digitech 2112," and then pointed out his musicial goals, "To continue recording music that I'm happy with and other can enjoy." He fervently hopes to one day study history, especially American history and culture, and is presently listening to Steve Vai, Allan Holdsworth (live in Japan), Dream Theater and other independent artists. His primary fulfillment? "Achieving my goals," he declares categorically.
 Thompson concludes by listing current and approaching undertakings succinctly, by saying, "Writing and demoing tunes for my next CD, following up on my debut CD 'Warped'. Maintaining my web site and completing material for my next CD."
