Borislav Mitic is a highly regarded, committed guitar player from Montreal, Quebec (Canada) who expresses his style as virtuoso instrumental heavy metal, as one can appreciate on his latest album, "The Absolute". His favorite guitars consist of an ESP V guitar (white) and an ESP Ltd EC 300. Mitic has played guitar since 0011, and candidly acknowledges his career aspiration, "I intend to record as many more good albums as I can, and meet many of my fans on tours."
When requested to reveal his number one effect for the guitar, Mitic answered back with, "Maxon Distortion Master and MSD Silver Machine wah," and then brought up his musicial goals, "I am always trying to take the listener on some sort of emotional journey with my music." He hopes to one day study sound engineering and the production side of things, and is at this time listening to Arch Enemy, Michael Schenker, Mike Oldfield, "Heaven & Hell" and Dire Straits. His utmost fulfillment? "Composing a good piece of music and then successfully capturing it in my studio. It's also very important to go and play those songs live on a stage for an appreciative audiences and get some energy feedback from them," he affirms conclusively.
Mitic concludes by mentioning continuing and future undertakings in his own words, "I am composing music for my next album right now. During this process I spend a couple of hours a day practicing and exploring new sounds and directions but also looking for various riffs that can trigger the flow of songwriting inspiration. I usually record the most interesting ideas I come up with for further analyzing and molding into definite new compositions later on."
