Andy Gerome is a vital, passionate guitar player from Nashville, Tennessee (U.S.A.) who expresses his style as instrumental rock/blues and rengade jazz, as can be heard on his latest release, "Miles Of Horizon". His favorite guitars include a Custom-made 1960 Strat by L.A. Guitar Works and a Giannini Craviola nylon string. Gerome has played guitar since 1968, and plainly avows his career goal, "To play whatever I feel and promote my music by records and live performance."
When asked to reveal his ideal effect for the guitar, Gerome countered with, "Long-delayed echo," and then detailed his musicial goals, "To tap into a new emotion, by creating a unique blend of melody and rhythm." He would like to someday study world religion, and is at this time listening to all styles of music and sound. His utmost satisfaction? "When people hear my music and enjoy it enough to play it again," he answers decidedly.
Gerome details continuing and future projects in his own words, "I'm working on some new ideas for another record and planning to promote "Miles Of Horizon" by live performances in the US. and foreign countries."
Gerome's discography (available here at Guitar Nine Records) includes one solo album ("Miles Of Horizon").
