Adrian Galysh is a more-than-capable, altogether exciting six-stringer from Fairfax, Virginia (U.S.A.) who reveals his style as instrumental progressive rock, as one can clearly experience on his latest album, "Venusian Sunrise". His favorite guitars consist of a Custom built Brian Moore C-55 and a Peavey Ecoustic with scalloped fingerboard. Galysh has played guitar since 1987, and freely acknowledges his career aspiration, "Record more instrumental albums, produce and tour."
When requested to reveal his ultimate effect for the guitar, Galysh came back with, "Reverb," and then brought up his musicial goals, "My music is the result of emotions that directly reflect people and events in my life." He fervently hopes to one day study composition with Arvo Part, and is at this time listening to Uli Jon Roth, Arvo Part, Steve Vai and Vangelis. His primary fulfillment? "Performing in front of an audience. Nothing better than when you close your eyes, the planets align and every note you play seems inspired," he affirms conclusively.
Galysh concludes by mentioning continuing and future undertakings succinctly, by saying, "I am typically doing session guitar work, producing, teaching and running clinics for various companies I endorse (Brian Moore Custom Guitars, SIT Strings, Peavey, Digitech)."
Guitar Nine Records visitors have compared the playing style and/or musical approach of Adrian Galysh to guitarists such as Steve Vai and others.
Galysh's discography (available here at Guitar Nine Records) includes several solo albums ("Venusian Sunrise", "King Friday", "Earth Tones").
