Alejandro Silva writes about ASPC Live, "After four years of existance of our band, Alejandro Silva Power Cuarteto, and two independent studio productions, this is our first live CD. Our goal was to faithfully capture the band's full performance on stage. The CD was recorded at the SCD Auditorium on Plaza Vespucio (Santiago, Chile) the 30th and 31st of October, 2003 - both audio and video. Once the songs were selected we had a little more than 120 minutes of music. We decided to edit one CD with the best of the band as a whole, leaving the most notorious part of the material, the solos, to be edited later on DVD exclusively. The CD includes three new songs, one new introduction, and a full Bach's invention, besides the classic versions of our older songs. With this work, we intend to leave a clear image of our band's achievements, and at the same time, mark a turning point in our quest for new compositional challenges.
