"And-Thology 1 & 2" (subtitled The Lost Ear X-Tacy Tapes) is a 2-CD set featuring a wealth of rare and unreleased material performed by the Andy Timmons Band, spanning 1988 to 1994, the same period that covers "Ear X-tacy", "Ear X-tacy 2" and the Orange Swirl recordings. An unbelievable gathering of high-energy Andy songs, the first disc is all instrumental, while the second CD features Andy Timmons on vocals on all tracks (includes two Jimi Hendrix covers and a version of Alice Cooper's "No More Mr. Nice Guy"). Both discs showcase the prolific interplay of the classic Andy Timmons Band line-up, featuring Mike Daane on bass and Mitch Marine on drums. Also included is a beautiful 24-page booklet jam-packed with photos of Andy and band from the early days, along with detailed liner notes. A very cool release that should not be missed!
