"Alter Ego"

Italian fusion guitarist Carlo Fimiani's CD, "Alter Ego", comes out primarily to manifest all the musical influences resulting from the meeting of musicians representing several cultures and nationalities. Certainly the variety of compositions derives from these elements and the presence of many guest musicians is the natural effect. Drums are played alternatively by Walter Calloni, Rocco Salzano and Gaetano Fasano; bass by Stefano Cerri, Dario Deidda, Joe De Marco and Nello Giudice; keyboards by Alfonso Deidda, Julian Mazzariello, Enzo De Angelis and Antonio De Luise; alto sax by Stefano Giuliano. Carlo Fimiani parlayed a long stay in Los Angeles into a certificate with Honor at the prestigious G.I.T., studying with Scott Henderson, Joe Diorio, Brett Garsed and T.J. Helmerich, among others. In addition to his solo work, he has worked with a number of high profile Italian muisicians.
