Acoustic Standards Volume One, by guitarist Richard Kuncicky, contains fifteen songs re-recorded and mastered in 2004 using a nylon string guitar. This CD is just what the title says... standards performed on an acoustic guitar. All of the songs arrangements are original. Shortly after originally recording this CD, Kuncicky took two years off from performing. During that time he redeveloped his playing technique to suit the nylon string (or classical) guitar. The 2004 arrangements are similar to the way he plays them now on nylon string acoustic guitar.
