The wait was worth it - here comes instrumental CD number two, Abyss, from Dennis H. Lotka and Dave Waterbury, and the pair have again delivered a smokin' collection of instrumentals that will make you rock your socks off (play it loud!) DHL has made substantial progress in creating their own style and sound. "The bug has bitten - Abyss is from the heart," as Lotka describes their latest work. Waterbury has hammered out some bitchin' bass tracks and drum programs, and is joined by Philip Wolfe (a veteran of the L.A. music scene, and monster keyboardist for WASP, Impelliteri, Keel, Rox DIamond, xYZ, Driver and Angel) on keyboards, providing his 'first take - on the spot' abilities on the solo for the title track. Fans of Lotka's debut CD "Dreamland" need to look no further than Abyss to experience another hard rock axefest, layered with cool solos and dynamic riffs.
