Review of "10 Guitar Stories"
|
ehind the Name Nebo & The Downstrokes is hiding guitar player Neboj_a Buhin, who composed all the songs on this instrumental CD, except Steve Winwoods "Can't find my way home". His guitar skills are great, booth acoustic and electric. You can tell it from the first song "New Shoes", where, despite all fast tempo, Buhin keeps melodically approach, which is something that can not always be found in similar CDs. CD is a blend of blues ("New Shoes", "Can't find my way home"), strings ballads ("Would You", "Ghost Train", "Babe Again"), easy jazz-rock ("Healing Touch") and sometimes Santana-like ("Memories") songs. Buhin is supported by compact band in which specially dominates keyboard player Gojko Tomljanovi_. Arrangements are made with fine taste and production is very satisfying and clear. In this form Buhin counts to the bests of his Art.
